Kukuom 5K

The KUKUOM HART 5K in Ghana is on November 19, 2011. It is open entry for all who wish to run. The race starts in Nobekaw and ends in Kukuom, Ghana ( 6°41'26.58"N and 2°26'51.24"W). After the finish line, AT THE RACE'S COMPLETION there will be a Grand Durbar CELEBRATION with all the Local Chiefs, COMMUNITY LEADERS, Villagers, Medical Personnel and ample News and Media coverage. Participants will receive T shirts, medals, certificates, and the overall winner will be flown to Utah to compete in the BAREFOOT FOR AFRICA race in 2012!

Ghanaians don’t have many organized races and therefore are extremely excited about this 5 K. Be sure to follow the race on this site.
